Dr. Peter Egbumokei – BSc Engineering, MSc Project Management, MBA, DBA | Chartered Engineer, PMP, CMI, MNSE
Dr. Egbumokei is a visionary Member of the Board of Directors at Meridian Energy SPV Limited, offering over 25 years of transformational leadership across Africa’s natural gas, power, and energy infrastructure sectors. A DBA-qualified leader specializing in Executive Leadership & Strategy, Dr. Egbumokei serves concurrently as the CEO of Yellow Craig Ltd and is the author of the mid-range business management theory CA-VCI.
He possesses a distinguished track record of converting complex technical engineering into bankable commercial options, on his previous roles deepwater gas $5B+ CAPEX and recently downstream gas $1B+ CAPEX growth portfolios and delivering pioneering milestones such as the first-ever locally executed deepwater FPSO FEED and scaling domestic gas capacity up to 300mmscfd. In his quarter of a century career that spans across early technical careers with WAPCo Cement, MB-ANAMMCO and later Cadmium Ltd, Yellow Craig Ltd and previous tenure as Portfolio Projects Delivery Manager at Shell Nigeria cemented his reputation for flawless institutional execution, delivering critical transmission networks with zero LTIs or fatalities.
Holding an MBA from Arden University, an MSc in Project Management from Robert Gordon University, and a first degree from the University of Lagos, he is a Chartered Engineer with COREN who expertly combines engineering precision with global corporate governance. Dr. Egbumokei is currently a Board member of Yellow Craig and Chairman BOT for Felicia Michael SoS Foundation.
Emmanuel Egbumokei – B.ENG, PG. IT, MBA
Emmanuel has over 17 years banking experience mainly in Investment Banking. He started an Executive Assistant at Continental Trust Bank in 2001. His experience spans various Investment Banking firms from Intercontinental Capital Markets Limited, Oceanic Bank International Plc, Oceanic Capital, Ecobank Nigeria and Ecobank Capital.
Emmanuel’s career in Investment Banking has resulted in raising over $1 billion in the Debt and Equity markets for several companies in Nigeria and some other African countries. Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and MBA from the Lagos State University with specialization in Marketing.
He is a Securities and Exchange Commission registered sponsored individual in the Financial Advisory\Issuing House function. He has attended various local and international courses including Euromoney Training, Philips Consulting, CBN management/leadership programs.
Taiwo Oguntimehin – HND, MBA, ANIM, ICEN, CETP
Taiwo is a brilliant Trust manager and professional with broad base competence across the financial industry including Treasury Management, Portfolio Management, Business development/marketing, Product development and strategy for breaking into new market with focus on professional service delivery and customer retention management.
He started his working career with Union Trustees Limited in 1998 until 2012 when he moved to Radix Trustees Limited as Managing Director/Chief Executive. In 2014, he moved to UTL Trust Management Services Limited as Regional Head, Business Development in 2014 and later Head Business Development in 2019. He took up responsibility as Managing Director at Mega Capital Assets & Trust in 2020. He has over 10 years working experience in the financial sector with goal getter attitude.

Dr. Emmanuel Ogbonna – BEng, Ph.D, CEnv, MIEnvSc, CDSB, CISL
Dr. Emmanuel Ogbonna is a strategic sustainability leader and Member of the Advisory Board at Meridian Energy SPV Limited, bringing 19 years of extensive experience driving ESG strategy, carbon reduction, and climate risk management across major infrastructure, corporate, and public sector organisations. A Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with a PhD in Sustainable Energy Technologies, Dr. Ogbonna expertly bridges public policy goals with corporate commercial realities. On the public and infrastructure side, he has executed regional net-zero strategy as Head of Sustainability for a UK Combined Authority and directed nature-positive frameworks for multi-billion-pound infrastructure initiatives like High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd.
On the corporate side, his background includes advising FTSE 100 clients on ESG reporting and decarbonization roadmaps at Tier-1 global firms EY and PwC, alongside serving as an Assessor for the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. This dual expertise allows him to play an instrumental role in guiding Meridian Energy’s governance frameworks, ensuring all energy infrastructure assets scale responsibly with robust environmental compliance.
